Without wishing to flog a dead hummingbird, the last newsletter I sent out with the chance video of these mesmerising chaps brought close to 300 emails in response, so I thought they warranted reshooting with the Canon 5D Mk2. The camera and las chupparosas didnt disappoint, I hope you enjoy and Ill try to promise no more birds. Final Cut Pro No colour correction Speed 25% 1080p converted to 24p

www.tiki.tv I didn't plan to shoot anything, just had my pocket camera with me and heard the music that day and the result was this sweet serendipity. I was with my keen amateur photographer friends Gerry & Peggy Sanders (www.sandersphotos.com) and Audrey at their house in Encino, CA for a quiet Memorial Day BBQ and used my little Canon Powershot SD970 IS Digital Elph to capture the Hummingbird...

Olvera Street. Mariachi Mecca as Este' Los Angeles was often referred to.... Must have attended a dozen of these celebrations in my youth...... Altho I don't know if I was ever touched by the ghost of a deceased relative.... It was so much fun to dress up....

Saw them a couple of Saturdays ago at Crondall Rock and Roll club in Hampshire - a place well worth a visit. They were excellent, albeit looking a bit older, except for Lynette who of course looks no different!

Well, this just about does it for me. Is this band reforming? If not, then they should reform for one of the many weekenders out there in music land. Great vocal from Lynette, great backing vocals too, not to mention the excellent band, musicially brilliant! 5 well deserved stars...
